Acting as Quantity Surveyors and Contract Administrators on behalf of Allied London, CTB managed the delivery of a highly bespoke stacked container scheme providing commercial accommodation in the centre of Manchester. The scheme uses 42 containers to form a four-storey integrated block comprising three rows of 14 containers over a ground-floor podium of steelwork. A blockwork core houses lifts to all floors and each level has WC and kitchen facilities, as well as floating walkway with staircases at both ends. Our role included overseeing of a negotiated procurement route, formal appointment of the contractor and management of the works through to completion.
